Sergio Erede
Graduated magna cum laude in law from the State University (Università Statale) of Milan in 1962 and received a master of laws (LL.M.) from Harvard Law School in 1964. He was admitted to the Italian Bar in 1967. Mr. Erede began his professional career as an associate at Hale & Door in Boston, from 1963 to 1964, and then Sullivan & Cromwell in New York. From 1965 to 1969, he was general counsel of IBM in Italy. In 1969, Mr. Erede founded Italian independent law firm Erede e Associati, with a focus primarily on mergers and acquisitions as well as securities transactions. In 1999, Erede e Associati merged with two other leading Italian independent law firms: Bonelli e Associati, which specialized in corporate law, bankruptcy and litigation, and Pappalardo e Associati, which specialized in antitrust and EU law. In addition to practicing as a lawyer, Mr. Erede is a member of the board of directors of several companies. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Space Holding and has been Partner of the Company since 2013.
